The Wise Raven Retreat

The Wise Raven Retreat is a large, comfortable home nestled among the trees in a quiet neighborhood of Big Lake Alaska. The lake is at the end of the road and lake access is a short mile away. Our retreat was originally created as a “craft retreat” to give a group of people a comfortable space to get away and work on that project that you have been trying to finish for years but keeps getting pushed back because, there isn’t time, or there isn’t space, or there are too many little fingers wanting to “help”.

 

We soon realized this space does not have to be limited to craft type groups, but can easily be translated to any genre of group: painting, sewing, photography, yoga, cooking, meditation, education, and so many others. Basically, any group of people with a similar interest that need a place to work on that interest (or anything really) together, will love coming here!

 

We have also listed some ideas that have made past groups successful on the How it Works page. This might be helpful to get some ideas started when planning your retreat. Take a tour of the spaces and picture how it could work for you and your group.
